Things to be aware of:
→ Groceries must be brought to Exuma from Nassau. Every Monday, a shipment of groceries is scheduled to arrive unless there are weather delays.
→ It is best to buy fresh produce early in the week.
→ Remember that prices are likely higher, and the selection is more limited than you might be used to.
→ You must provide your bags; we typically keep some in the Villa.

→ Notes: They are in downtown Georgetown on the left side of the circle drive through town. It is before the gas station. This is the largest market on the island.
Smitty's Groceries & Convenience

→ Notes: Smitty’s is conveniently located between the villa and the airport. There is a liquor store attached to the grocery store. This is the closest grocery and liquor store to the Hideaways, approximately 0.7 miles away. If you decide to walk there, be careful. There are no shoulders on the road. And remember to bring your bags. Smitty’s is a great one-stop to fill the fridge and stock up on beer.
Shop Rite Market

→ Notes: This is where the locals typically shop. It is on the right side of the road on the way into Georgetown from the Villa. It has a nice selection of soaps, sunscreens, and notions. The employees are very helpful.

→ Notes: It is located on Circle Drive in downtown Exuma. It is on the right-hand side before the Exuma market.
